The mission of the MAOF is to advance opportunity and education that endures across generations. MAOF has developed a family care model that uses a multi-generational approach to uplift the whole family. We provide social services for infants through seniors across four pillars: early child education, senior services, community development, and community partnerships. Since our founding in 1963 in Los Angeles, we have grown to become one of the largest nonprofits in California serving over 125,000 people per year across nine counties which include: Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, Orange, Ventura, Kern, Monterey, and Contra Costa.
